What Inspired Me to Become An atlanta personal Stylist

Sitting down with new faces, I always seem to get this question… “What made you want to become a stylist? Do you really love it?” followed by “I sooo hate shopping!”

I get it! Shopping frequently is not on everyone’s bucket list. It is something that is time consuming and can be a bit overwhelming without a true plan. So what inspired me? It’s the joy I see on my client’s faces after I complete a project, it’s the comfort and comradery that is built between a client and myself, it’s more than just the ability to shop!

I have been in the world of creativity with clothes since I was a kid. Cutting up t-shirts for my teddy bears and church socks for my Barbies, making them clothes! It’s been a passion of mine for so long. As I got older, that spark grew into a flame, and I took courses at Auburn University in Fashion Merchandising and Product Development.

Once graduating from college, my interest in the world of fashion and merchandising continued to be explored in careers of visual merchandising and brand management. Today, I’ve taken my decades of passion and have found purpose in it. For me styling and merchandising is not just about making people or spaces look pretty, it’s about curating unique looks and strategies that compliment my clients…. who they are or what their brand represents. Stepping outside of boxes and comfort zones if you will.

It’s my ultimate goal to ensure my clients feel a sense of confidence in themselves and/or pride in their businesses.
